As the president of Parsell Pet Crematorium, Johnathan Parsell is dedicated to something he finds deeply rewarding: providing comfort and exceptional service to pet parents during the difficult time of pet loss. His commitment to providing the highest standards of care is what sets Parsell Pet Crematorium apart.

"I enjoy elevating the level of pet after care, to honor the special bond we have with our pets and to provide the dignity our pets deserve," he says.

Along with client care, Johnathan’s day to day responsibilities include overall management, marketing, sales, operations and finance, along with transporting, receiving and processing pets. He earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Marketing and Operations Management from the University of Delaware and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Drexel University. He earned his Crematory Operator Certification from the National Funeral Director's Association and The Matthews School of Cremation.

Outside work, Johnathan enjoys exploring new cities and cuisines with his wife and spending time outside with his Australian Labradoodle, Cannoli.

As Parsell Pet Crematorium's manager, Harvey L. Walls is responsible for handling cremations, equipment maintenance, ordering custom urns, markers, caskets and jewelry, billing veterinary clients, managing inventory, and training new personnel. He earned his Master Certification from the Crematory Association of North America.

Harvey particularly enjoys making sure our clients have everything they need to help them memorialize their beloved pets and that the process is as easy and stress-free as possible. His organizational skills and attention to detail are integral elements of our ability to deliver the highest-quality service to pet owners during their time of need.

"It's great to be part of a company where the owners want everything to be a first-class operation," he says. "We do all we can to make sure our clients are served to the best of our ability."

In his free time, Harvey and his wife, who are members of the Salisbury, MD Kennel Club, work with their pug on agility and rally training. They also care for two cats. Harvey enjoys fishing "as often as I can get away with it."

Thomas "TJ" Bishop is our Crematory Operator. He works closely with our clients to thoroughly explain the cremation process, answer any questions, and make sure they know they are making the best choices for their pet. He is responsible for coordinating the cremation process with pet families and veterinary hospitals and is involved in the day to day operational tasks of the business. He earned his Crematory Operator Certification from the Cremation Association of North America.

When asked about working at Parsell Pet Crematorium, TJ appreciates that we are a family-owned and operated business with a strong sense of community and a caring team genuinely committed to providing the highest-quality services to pet owners in their time of need.

TJ has a Jack Russell named Chester and a Cock-a-Poo named Dela. In his free time he enjoys boating, fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with family.

Meagan joined Parsell Pet Crematorium in January 2018. She was raised in Milton, DE and graduated from Sussex Tech in 2010. Previously, she worked as a veterinary technician full time and joined Parsell Pet to expand her passion for pets.

Meagan enjoys the beach, movies, trying new foods, spending time with her family, and spoiling her dogs and cats.
